It sounds ominous… “The Rack” but it really isn’t.
It’s a timber rack … it’s a rack for timber.
The timber rack is shelves, slots, gaps, rails, uprights, bays and whatever else you want to call them for keeping bits of wood off the floor… off the forklift.. off the saw bench… off the planer thicknesser.. off the rollers on the bandmill.. off the kitchen worktop.. and off my desk!!!
Basically it gives us somewhere to put bits of wood.. and it helps our lovely customers (that’s you). They (you) no longer have to wade through sawdust to reach unwieldy piles of cut to size timber in the machine shop.. because it’s in a timber rack!
And.. get this.. the timber has actual writing.. with actual sizes.. and actual prices.. I know you’re not going to believe me.. especially if you’ve known us for any length of time..
…so you’d better come and have a rummage for yourself!
